This cause was set up by Happy Clinic Owner and Medical Director, Dr. Phil Nguyen, to provide services for recovering drug addicts who have been clean for a minimum of 12 months. The program’s objective is to remove all needle tract marks from individual’s arms and provide additional services on a case by case basis.

"This program is near and dear to me," stated Dr. Nguyen, and continued, "I have firsthand experience of seeing the devastation created by drug addiction as one of my family members has battled addiction; he was the first member of the On the Right Track Program. I look forward to helping many more recovering addicts in the years ahead," concluded Dr. Nguyen.

"I was recently introduced to Dr. Nguyen,” said Hague. “The passion and personal commitment that he has shown to aid our recovering addicts in the Colorado community is humbling.” Hague continued, “The anguish of drug abuse is known in many households across the world as our society is plagued by drugs with millions afflicted and many incarcerated. I am honored to serve alongside Dr. Nguyen as Chairman for Corporate Contributions for the program. My immediate goals will be to raise awareness and the vital funds to help our recovering addicts rehabilitate and reenter society without the stigma of visible needle tracts that could limit future employment opportunities," concluded Hague.

As World Cup looms, Willian claims Chelsea spotlight

Feb 22, 2018

LONDON — Willian isn't used to receiving much acclaim. Even a place in Chelsea's starting lineup isn't certain. And if any Chelsea player was going to outshine Lionel Messi against Barcelona, surely it was going to be Eden Hazard. Perhaps that's why Barcelona underestimated Willian on Tuesday night, leaving him unmarked in dangerous spots so often. While Hazard's contribution as the false nine was modest, Willian produced one of his most complete performances for Chelsea in the Champions League last-16 first leg. It wasn't just his 11th goal of the season — the opener that rattled Barcelona in the second...

FIFA lifts ban on 2026 World Cup voters publicly backing bid

Feb 22, 2018

LONDON — A ban on voters publicly endorsing a 2026 World Cup bid has been lifted by FIFA in the face of criticism from soccer officials. The governing body last month ordered officials not to openly discuss the merits of either the joint Northern American bid, featuring the United States, Canada and Mexico, or the rival Morocco contender. It led to Confederation of African Football President Ahmad, who goes by just one name, expressing frustration at being restricted from backing his continent's bid. But FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura informed members this week of an about-turn in a letter to...

Messi scores vs Chelsea at 9th attempt to give Barca CL draw

Feb 22, 2018

LONDON — Lionel Messi finally managed one of the few things he had yet to achieve in football. At his ninth attempt, the five-time world player of the year finally scored against Chelsea, salvaging a 1-1 draw on Tuesday and halting his longest drought against any opponent after 730 minutes. By cancelling out Willian's opener, Messi also gave Barcelona a narrow edge in their Champions League round-of-16 matchup heading into the second leg at Camp Nou on March 14. The night's other game produced a far more conclusive outcome with Thomas Mueller and Robert Lewandowski both scoring twice as Bayern...

Bayern cruises to 5-0 win over Besiktas in Champions League

Feb 22, 2018

MUNICH — Thomas Mueller and Robert Lewandowski both scored twice as Bayern Munich defeated 10-man Besiktas 5-0 Tuesday to all but secure progress to the Champions League quarterfinals for the seventh straight season. Bayern played with an extra man after Domagoj Vida was sent off early for bringing down Lewandowski as the last defender, but didn't open the scoring until the 43rd minute when Mueller netted from close range. The floodgates opened after the break, though, as Kingsley Coman doubled the lead and Mueller grabbed his second midway through the second half. Lewandowski polished off the win with two late...
