Essex, United Kingdom - May 17, 2018 /NewsNetwork/ —

Participants of the Holy Land Tour expressed their delightfulness from the final day of the 2018 Holy Land Tour.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome– the founder of the renowned Christ Embassy Church has organized the final day of the 2018 Holy Tour as a “day to remember”. The week-ling visit to Israel was designed to play a crucial role in the spiritual success of the believers and followers of Pastor Chris and the Church. The trip was divided into four different groups, each accompanying the Pastor at crucial moments and sites. The Holy Land Tour aims to connect Christ believers with the Land of Jesus, expanding their understanding of the Bible and scripture, and thus connecting them to the Jewish land on a new level of faith. The entire tour was broadcasted and covered extensively by the news agencies, social media, and multiple streaming websites. The organization have thus declared the visit as “an overwhelming success”.

The day began while one of the groups still resided in Jordan, a neighboring country to Israel. They visited the city of Jerash. It is a city of the Decapolis and the site of the ruins of a Greco-Roman city. The site is filled with historical and biblical references dating back centuries. The Biblical Holy Land is not just in Israel, it spreads out to other modern-day countries such as Jordan, making this tour an opportunity to experience new countries.Participants expressed how amazed were they by the rich archeological diversity the site offered. They shared that “it was a moment in which Christians could understand, first hand, where Jesus resided and what He went through in His life.”

The participants were then served at a traditional Lebanese restaurant in Jerash, Jordan. The group received a warm welcome and had the chance to try traditional food and drink. The Holy Land Tour provides the opportunity not only to connect to the scripture but also to experience the diverse culture of Middle East.

The group went back to Israel by crossing the Allenby Bridge border. The Allenby Bridge, which is also known as the King Hussein Bridge connects the West Bank with Jordan and crosses the Jordan River. Other than through the West Bank, the bridge is currently the sole designated exit/entry point for West Bank Palestinians traveling in and out of the region.

To wrap up the day and the Holy Land Tour itself, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Benny Hinn are prepared to host a charity gala at Olmaya Hall, Jerusalem. The event will feature a ministration from the Man of God, leading his followers closer to Jesus and their faith. Invited guests include local and international members of the Evangelical community as well as supporters from the Jewish community and fans of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. The Jerusalem Orchestra will also be there.

The ministration before the Gala will be broadcasted live tonight (Thursday the 17th of May), at 6PM (GMT+1) or 8PM Israel time. Those who want to watch the livestream can follow the official broadcast links on YouTube and Facebook:

Icardi left out of Argentina's World Cup squad

May 22, 2018

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Serie A co-top-scorer Mauro Icardi was left out of Argentina's World Cup squad on Monday. Icardi, also the Inter Milan captain, was the most notable absentee from coach Jorge Sampaoli's 23-man list. Manchester City's Sergio Aguero, who has not played since March and is recovering from a knee operation, was picked. Sampaoli said in a news conference his choices were based on "players that can do many functions to give us different characteristics." "Those players in the final list are closer to the idea we are implementing. They are closer to the opposition's goal line than...

Lovren ends turbulent season with the job of marking Ronaldo

May 22, 2018

LIVERPOOL, England — There were times this season when it felt like Dejan Lovren's days at Liverpool were numbered. Like when the defender was substituted 31 minutes into a humiliating 4-1 loss at Tottenham in the English Premier League in October, having been at fault for the opening two goals. He didn't play the next three games. Like when Virgil van Dijk arrived at Anfield in late December for a fee of $99 million, a world record for a defender. The widespread view was that Lovren would be the player making way. More fingers were pointed at the center back...

May 22, 2018

LIVERPOOL, England — Emre Can trained with the rest of the Liverpool squad on Monday ahead the Champions League final against Real Madrid, raising hopes he could return to the team after more than two months out because of a back injury. The Germany midfielder, who traveled to Marbella for Liverpool's warm-weather camp last week, has been the main injury concern for manager Juergen Klopp heading into Saturday's game in Kiev but looked sharp in the open training session held at Anfield. One particular moment stood out, a full sliding challenge on defender Virgil van Dijk during a "rondo" session....

Belgium goes to World Cup without Nainggolan

May 22, 2018

BRUSSELS — Belgium left midfielder Radja Nainggolan out of its World Cup squad on Monday despite a standout season with Champions League semifinalist Roma. Belgium coach Roberto Martinez has long had a difficult relationship with the stormy midfielder but said he left him out purely for tactical reasons, saying Nainggolan was not the kind of player to take to a long tournament if he was only given a secondary position. "I don't think Radja is a player to be used in a small role in any group," Martinez said. "We all know he has a very important role at club...
