Affogata and Dots.eco Partner Up on Gamescom 2022 to Help Visitors Have a Positive Impact on the Planet

The collaboration hopes to help visitors be more environmentally conscious, allowing them to plant trees, save endangered species, clean plastic from the ocean and more.

Affogata, the AI-Driven Player Insights Platform, enabling the leading studios in the games industry improve their games by harnessing the power of their players’ feedback, together with Dots.eco, a Tel Aviv-based startup helping leading gaming apps increase engagement while making a real-world impact by granting environmental rewards to players, have announced today their partnership to help make Gamescom 2022 a greener event.

Affogata and Dots.eco understand the negative impact of the waste usually generated by swag and sales collateral materials during conventions worldwide. Hundreds of exhibitors gather to bring the latest and coolest swag to event visitors, leaving behind tons of waste in the form of paper, plastic bottles and cups, mouse pads, dolls to name a few. Inspired by Gamescom also going green, Affogata and Dots.eco decided to join the event’s efforts and eliminate most waste from their presence and help other visitors and exhibitors do the same.

Visitors and exhibitors will be able to visit Affogata’s booth at Gamescom’s Business Hall B-054 and spin a prize wheel that supports causes such as cleaning the ocean from plastic or planting trees, and earn a certificate showing exactly how their eco-impact is making a difference.
