Cristi Ropp, a dreamer and believer who always wanted to write a children's book, has completed her new book "Little Sammy's Big Trip": an adventurous tale of a mischievous little squirrel who learns a valuable lesson.
Little Sammy's mother told him to be mindful of where he plays on the beautiful, expansive farm they reside on. Sammy loves to play and often ventures from his home in the big Oak tree to find some mischief to get into. When Sammy spots a huge pile of hay, all he wants to do is roll and play in it. He romps around happily in the hay until he tires himself out and when he awakens from his nap in a faraway place, fear overtakes his carefree attitude, and he has to find a way back home.
Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Cristi Ropp's playful tale is full of adventure, silly shenanigans, and important lessons.
Feeling remorseful and shameful after accidentally leaving his home on the farm, Sammy listens to his mother and takes comfort in her big hugs. He vows to always listen to his mother and play more carefully so that he can stay safe and close to home.
Readers who wish to experience this high-spirited work can purchase "Little Sammy's Big Trip" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iBooks Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
