With the latest announcement, the leading provider of online digital art education offers students the chance to learn about the essential elements of entertainment production, including concept design, character design, IP development, storytelling, VFX, games, animation, and more.
Out of the 15 most costly schools in the United States, 11 are art and design colleges, with the average net cost adding up to roughly $42,000. Many art and design jobs, however, do not require a traditional four-year degree.
Founder and CEO Manny Fragelus established CCGMA with the aim of creating an affordable, accessible, and high-quality means to art and design education.
The updated courses are part of the company’s commitment to offering high-quality entertainment and design education opportunities.
Since its establishment in 2011, CCGMA has provided relevant education to more than 20,000 prospective artists from around the world. Many of the academy’s former students have gone on to work for prominent entertainment companies such as Disney, Activision Blizzard, Marvel, Dreamworks, Google, Netflix, Amazon, and more.
Today, CCGMA offers over 130 courses taught by knowledgeable entertainment art and design professionals. The industry-focused program allows students to focus on the latest techniques, software, and workflows of their desired discipline. With pre-recorded online lectures, students have the ability to access their courses wherever and whenever is most convenient.
The academy’s unique mentorship education format also allows students to form organic network opportunities within the world of entertainment.
When attending CCGMA, students are granted the flexibility to customize their investments depending on their specific budget and goals. Individuals can choose to enroll in their desired amount of courses, with the cost of a single course typically ranging from $499 to $998.
In addition to college students, CCGMA is open to high schoolers and current art professionals.
Fragelus states: “We’re looking to branch into automotive, fashion, product, interior, and graphic design, all while doubling down on our mission statement: relevant, affordable, and accessible art education.”
