Vienna, Austria - January 20, 2024 /PressCable/ —
Dr. Erika Wichro, an internationally regarded public health specialist, has ventured into consulting, offering her services to businesses, government agencies, and communities seeking a subject matter expert in the fields of crisis management and resilience building.
More information is available at https://www.drerikawichro.com/
Dr. Wichro’s consulting service can be tailored to the needs of an organization, and she is amenable to keynote events, lead masterclasses, and attend panel discussions, both live and online. She can also evaluate technical documents on disaster preparedness and recovery and offer recommendations for further improvements.
According to Dr. Wichro, she decided to venture into consulting to respond to the need of various sectors for expertise in resilience and emergency response, particularly the private sector. For instance, analytics company SAS published the results of a survey it completed 2023, which found that despite 97% of executives believing that resilience is essential in business, only 47% of organizations are perceived as resilient.
Dr. Wichro brings to the table her vast experience in capacity building drawn from actual field work with partners from the medical field, government, civil societies, donors, and other stakeholders. Her experience includes leadership functions in health emergencies, such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and Covid-19 in Austria and Ukraine, where she was involved in high-level functions like procurement and budget administration.
Furthermore, she is a technical expert specializing in psychosocial support who has worked with the EU Civil Protection Mechanism and the United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination.
Before offering her consulting services to private entities, she was already delivering talks at various international events, such as the Charité-Mayo Conference in Berlin in 2021, among many others.
For her accomplishments, Dr. Wichro was recognized by the International Association of Top Professionals, which inducted her into its Top 25 Global Impact Leaders list and named her Top Global Impact Health Consultant of the Decade.
“The pandemic was the biggest health crisis faced by this generation, but it won’t be the last, and epidemics are not the only threats we should prepare for,” a spokesperson for Dr. Wichro said. “If you want to build a more resilient organization or business, then Dr. Wichro should be high on the list of experts that you should heed.”
