Daryl Hill has developed an Early Detection Monitoring system (EDM) to allow doctors and health professionals to continue to work with their patients during the current pandemic without the infection risk of face-to-face appointments.

The announced Early Detection Monitoring (EDM) system allows doctors to protect themselves and their loved ones from risks such as the current Coronavirus whilst still working to save lives with virtual medicine.
The Coronavirus pandemic has taken traditional medical systems and hospitals to their breaking point. With a shortage of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ventilators, testing kits, hospital beds, and staff members, there is a need for virtual services to help relieve this pressure.
The EDM system has delivered real-world results during its first week. It has saved 35 people from being admitted to the hospital, prevented 4 visits to the Emergency Room, identified 2 people who had COVID-19 and alleviated fears for all 41 of those patients.
From a patient’s perspective, the system allows them health monitoring from the safety of their own home, daily monitoring when they are ill, health kits shipped straight to their door and preventive education.
EDM differs from traditional telemedicine by allowing a patient’s primary care doctor to continue to serve their own patient’s needs and keep that connection. Patients won’t have to work with a doctor who is hired by large conglomerates and randomly assigned to them.
Developed in conjunction with a Houston based doctor, the EDM is able to assist doctors without them needing to lose any member of their office staff as they are re-purposed to work virtually full-time.
The requirements for the EDM system are a desktop or laptop computer, and an internet connection, with the business model presented in a step-by-step manner to allow doctors to get started with virtual medicine for their practice.
