Phuket Thailand - October 9, 2017 /MarketersMedia/ —
Enzo’s Private Selection, maker of Classic Enzo Organic Matcha Tea, and Robert Cruso are pleased to announce that they have donated $1500 to help Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. $500 was given to the Houston Food Bank ( http://www.houstonfoodbank.org/ ) and $1000 to Global Giving ( https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/hurricane-harvey-relief-fund ) Enzo’s Private Selection official donation partner. Both organizations have been front and center in helping to provide private funding assistance to those individuals in need of a variety of services and products.
According to a spokesperson for the firm, “We are pleased to be able to help in this effort. We also have been working very hard to clear up an issue which has affected our ratings on Amazon.com. Earlier this year, Amazon had an issue with the inventory of Enzo Organic Matcha. More than 300 Enzo Original Organic Matcha was mislabeled as Premium Organic Matcha green tea. This problem might have happened because the packaging on the two products looks similar."
The mix-up had caused the company a lot of problems, because buyers who received the Premium Pack when purchasing the mislabeled Classic Pack loved the Premium Pack, but did not get it when they reordered. Conversely, customers who were pleased with the mislabeled Premium Pack Matcha and reordered, but received the lesser Classic grade. The result was a loss of trust by customers who believed that the company did a bait-and-switch.
Enzo's spokesperson explained, “We discovered the error by Amazon following months of investigation. Some of our customers sent images of the Classic Enzo Matcha bag which they received when they had purchased Premium Grade Matcha. While this explains the cause of the dissatisfaction, we are regretful for the mix-up and hope that the explanation will encourage customers to take another look at and try another taste of our range of quality products.”
