#DemClintonGirls turn up the heat on their sexy Isotopia Records debut
New York City, Oct 16, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Kandy Apple Redd are turning up the heat with their sexy new single "Do Things", a sizzling ode to passion in the moment. Tonysha Nelson and Patavian Lewis layer their melodic vocals to deliver a mood which can only be described as passionate. The single and forthcoming music video mark their maiden voyage with New York City based Isotopia Records. "Do Things" is available on all streaming outlets. CLICK HERE: https://smarturl.it/l5vfo6
As the granddaughters of legendary Funk and R&B maestro George Clinton, the Clinton cousins' gift for music came naturally, but not without effort and commitment. Kandy Apple Redd has been on the road for the past decade honing their craft performing in concert with Parliament-Funkadelic over 200 nights a year. It was on tour where they met Isotopia magic maker, Constance Hauman who pledged to work to polish their proverbial apple.
Written by Paul Hill and Kandy Apple Redd with production by Atlanta's Jamm Lewis, "Do Things" received a global assist from Dublin based engineer James Darkin (Gavin James, Kanye West, Sinead O'Connor, Rihanna). The forthcoming music video, which took a year to create, was lensed by award winning director Video God, and produced by Constance Hauman. Filmed in various locations around the city it's a "love letter" to Pre-pandemic New York.
