June 13, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - Home Instead Bedford: Celebrating Excellence in Care and Community Impact - Double Finalist at Bedfordshire Business Awards 2023
Home Instead Bedford, a leading provider of personalised home care services, is thrilled to announce its achievement as finalists in two significant categories at the Bedfordshire Business Awards 2023. The categories include the 'Business of the Year with less than 50 Employees' and the 'Positive Impact Award'. In 2022, Home Instead Bedford provided a staggering 38,496 hours of care, supporting 85 clients and witnessed a significant 18% growth in the client base. Remarkably, 100% of our clients felt that their carers were well-matched to their needs.
"We are deeply honoured and proud to have been recognised for our commitment to care excellence and community impact," said Moona Karim, Founder and Managing Director of Home Instead Bedford. "We aspire to deliver the quality of care we would want our own parents to receive."
With a focus on compassion, trust, and responsiveness, the team of Home Instead Bedford has actively served the local community and driven several successful initiatives, such as:
Inspiring over 200 health and social care students through engaging college talks. Raising dementia awareness among 100,000+ local radio listeners. Educating more than 150 locals at 20+ Dementia Friends talks and market pop-ups. Directing people at Carers Dementia Triage to necessary help. Enabling 20 residents to have essential fire prevention fitted. Supplying 100 purple bags to help local residents navigate the cost-of-living crisis. Empowering 25 school children with letters written to isolated elders. Feeding 500+ people through the 'Be a Santa' campaign.
In addition, the team has proudly sponsored the Bedfordshire Cricket Club, further solidifying its roots in the community.
Home Instead Bedford has cultivated a positive work environment, resulting in a 5-star employer rating in the WorkBuzz survey. Remarkably, 98% of its workforce would recommend Home Instead as a great place to work. This acclaim comes as no surprise, as expressed by one care professional, "I work for a wonderful, amazing, incredible, dedicated, caring, professional, fabulous company! Everyon feels truly valued, cared for and the training is second to none! One of the best companies I have had the pleasure, privilege and honour to work for."
