As a black HR professional himself, Anthony says that the latest partnership highlights the new vision statement of HR Certified: to increase diversity within corporate HR departments nationwide through attraction and upscaling efforts. Anthony believes that it’s only by meeting where they are can businesses do better.
He will discuss his previous efforts and what he hopes to accomplish with NAAAHR at their National Conference. The event, themed “The Future of HR & DEI: People, Power, and Process”, will provide a venue for black human resources professionals to talk about their experiences and what can be done for opening more opportunities to their fellow professionals. Anthony says, "I served as an HR Certification Instructor and on the Board at the Atlanta Chapter level which contributed greatly to forming HR Certified, LLC. I am honored to return to the national level with enhanced capabilities."
The national conference will take place from the 23rd of May to the 28th of May at the Hilton Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from dozens of HR professionals, all of whom will share various HR strategies and DEI best practices as part of their commitment to providing quality HR content to contribute to HR professionals' development.
