LessonWise Makes Tutoring Accessible to Everyone
Aug 8, 2022
London, United Kingdom Aug 8, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - The pandemic caused a significant loss of learning amongst students. Many didn't have access to appropriate remote learning systems as schools switched to online instruction with the majority of students unable to afford private tuition. This led to an exacerbated need for remote learning programmes that could effectively help students catch up on lost learning and avoid any negative impacts in their future. Further, private tutoring has the capacity to increase students' confidence, unlock their potential and help them attain more in life. However, in reality, only a small portion of society is able to afford private tuition. This inevitably leads to an uneven playing field and a widening attainment gap between those who can and those who cannot afford private tuition.
LessonWise is disrupting the online tutoring industry by providing affordable access to private tuition through live group online lessons. Given the economies of group lessons, students can access quality private tuition delivered by industry leading tutors at a fraction of the costs; and tutors are able to maximise their earnings and the number of students they impact.
LessonWise's mission is to bring private tutoring to the masses. They strive to empower talented tutors as well as students globally and ensure everyone has the opportunity to access the benefits of private education. Its commitment to providing access to private online education does not end there. Over the last three months, LessonWise has delivered thousands of hours of free live group courses available for everyone to enroll in, and its vast pool of user-generated resources is accessible to everyone who joins the platform.
With over 4,100 students and over 400 tutors, LessonWise is striving to build a global community of students in the months ahead and edge closer to its goal of becoming a global leader in the space of offering equitable access to private tuition.
