Moonraker Releases Two Free Checks That Show Therapy Practices What Google and AI Assistants Can See

Sep 19, 2026

A 40 second website scan and a one minute listing check give therapists a plain language report and the fixes in order, free, with no sales call attached.

Easthampton, MA, September 19, 2026 -- Moonraker, a marketing firm that works only with therapy practices in the United States and Canada, has released two free tools that answer questions most practice owners cannot answer alone: can the AI assistants read my website, and do my online listings agree on who I am.

The AI Readiness Scan, at moonraker.ai/scan, reads a practice website the way ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google read it: its structured data, its AI and crawler files, and up to twelve of its pages. In about 40 seconds it returns a readiness level, what is missing, and the three fixes that matter most, in order. No email address is needed to see the result.

The Listing Check, at moonraker.ai/nap, takes a practice name, town, and website; finds the practice's Google Business Profile; searches 25 directories for the practice and for the clinician by name; checks the federal NPI registry; and looks across the wider web for listings the practice never created. The emailed report shows where the name, address, and phone number disagree and what to fix first. Run again later; it opens with what changed.

“A therapist should not need a marketing agency to find out whether Google thinks they are two different practices,” said Scott Pope, Director of Growth and Operations at Moonraker. “Both checks read public information only and change nothing. A therapist can run one, read the answer, and fix what it finds without hiring anybody.”

Search engines and AI assistants cross-check a practice's name, address, and phone across every listing they can find and trust the practice in proportion to how well those listings agree. An old number on a directory profile, a registry record still carrying a previous office, or a listing under the clinician's own name rather than the practice's are common, invisible from inside the practice, and quick to fix once found. The checks come out of Moonraker's own research. Its AI Invisibility Index, published on 15 September, scanned 984 independent therapy practice websites across all 50 states and found that 77.9% of those it could fully grade fall below the level an AI assistant needs to quote them, with 65.7% missing llms.txt, the file AI crawlers read first. The state-by-state dataset is public at moonraker.ai/ai-invisibility-index

“We built these because the first thing we do with every new client is exactly this work, by hand,” Scott Pope added. “Giving it away means a practice can fix the obvious problems before they ever talk to us, and the ones who do talk to us start further along.”

About the company: Moonraker helps therapy practices be found and trusted on Google, Maps and AI assistants. Founded by Chris Morin, the firm works exclusively with mental health practices in the United States and Canada.
