Foresight Autonomous Holdings (NASDAQ: FRSX) (TASE: FRSX), an innovator in automotive vision systems, has finalized development of a commercial version of its proprietary automation calibration software. In addition, the company announced that it has filed a patent application for calibration software for vision sensors intended to provide flexible placement of sensors on a vehicle while ensuring perception accuracy. The groundbreaking software offers continuous sensor calibration, which creates the stereoscopic 3D perception essential for safe and effective automotive stereo vision systems. Foresight’s pioneering technology provides automatic calibration between vision systems composed of multiple sensors, thus reducing the miscalibration that may happen when external factors cause the position of sensors to change. Foresight’s new software is designed to affect the decision-making mechanism of the vehicle and reduce the risk to passenger lives. “Completing development of the commercial version of our proprietary automatic calibration software is an important milestone for the company, and will allow us to offer this software as a standalone product,” said Foresight CEO Haim Siboni in the press release. “Our unique solution is suitable for passenger vehicles, heavy machinery manufactures and Tier One suppliers looking to enhance their stereoscopic vision systems.”
