July 5, 2022 – Scott Cawthon, creator of the Fazbear Fanverse Initiative, announced the release of a “Five Nights at Freddy’s” fanverse game spinoff, “POPGOES Arcade,” available on the Steam platform. The series is part of the Fazbear Fanverse Initiative, designed to introduce the best FNaF fan games to a wider audience. Until July 8, 2022, fans can receive a 20 percent discount on the purchase price of “POPGOES Arcade.”
“POPGOES Arcade” is an official “Five Nights at Freddy’s” (FNaF) spinoff series, produced by Cawthon and developed by fans. Individuals will play “POPGOES: The Dead Forest,” a retro-style RPG game on the arcade machine in The POPGOES Pizzeria. It introduces some new characters that include Popgoes the Weasel and Manora the Mouse. A trailer is available on YouTube.
The game features a large, expandable map to unlock and explore. There are plenty of bad guys to battle, inspired by minigames found in the FNaF series. A wealth of interesting characters, easter eggs, secrets and lore are waiting to be found.
The premium version will provide players their own room that showcases their trophies and weapons of defeated bosses, along with The Bestiary, an encyclopedia of all the enemies encountered. There are collectible paints to decorate the eyes, attire and room. More than 30 Steam-integrated achievements encourage replaying.
After completing “POPGOES: The Dead Forest,” the premium version features an entire bonus sequel adventure, “POPGOES and The Machinist.” It has new robotic enemies, such as Overkill and Scrap Coins, and contains new locations, items, NPCs, songs and deep, dark secrets to reveal.
“POPGOES Arcade” provides “Five Nights at Freddy’s” fans to continue the fun and excitement with new characters, features, music and gameplay. As an added bonus, players have the opportunity to save 20 percent off the purchase price until July 8, 2022.
