Optomed E-Safe
Disposable eye cups for hygienic retinal imaging
Optomed USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Optomed Plc, introduces Optomed E-Safe, a disposable eye cup, to be used with its handheld fundus cameras. "The current pandemic situation accelerated the need to offer convenient solutions such as our disposable eye cup to deliver safe and hygienic eye exams without the need for a disinfection protocol," said Jean-Christophe Firer, President & CEO of Optomed USA, Inc.
The Optomed E-Safe eye cup is made from thermoplastic polyurethane disposable material. The eye cup is attached to the camera's eyepiece, which rests against the patient during imaging. The single patient use product makes it easy for the eye care professional to safely image patients. The Optomed E-Safe disposable eye cup is available at www.optomed.com/us/buy-now or by contacting your Optomed representative.
