LGBTQ2S+ individuals interested in a STEM career have faced longstanding challenges which have resulted in glaring underrepresentation in these professions. WorkplaceDiversity is expanding its services to tackle long-standing disparities. They are offering current job openings in Pittsburgh from computer science companies dedicated to making their work environment more inclusive.
“Diverse companies benefit from better employee performances, this has been proven by hundreds of studies,” said Michael Monsport of WorkplaceDiversity. "We're helping turn positive study numbers into more workplace realities."
The WorkplaceDiversity job board benefits both employers and prospect talent alike.
Individuals looking for a career in computer science can easily find employers. All they need to do is enter the role they are looking for and their desired location. This will generate a list of potential employers instantly.
The platform lists the name of the hiring organization, job title, job summary, and the required level of education. Job seekers can apply directly or save the job, so they can tailor their application materials and apply later. Available jobs range from entry level to CEO.
Hiring companies can distinguish themselves from hundreds of listings by choosing a landing page feature. Featured listings highlight the company's name and logo at the top of the page. An active link is included, taking the job seeker directly to the specific role being promoted.
Employer listings include a company profile. This includes a logo, contact information, website link, video link, and links to social media accounts.
