Play Market aims to create an engaging space in the blockchain gaming field where community players can generate revenue through playing. The platform has a clear roadmap for release in 2023, with an NFT available in Q1 and mobile games available on the App Store and Google Play later in the year.
Play Market has been built by blockchain developers who have experience across the field and within the gaming industry. They explain that developers can use smart contracts on top of PLM, allowing for smoother integration of the platform.
Players already playing the following games: Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto 5, Call of Duty, and Animal Crossing can register and start enjoying the benefits of the platform. Other popular options available are Lost Ark, Dying Light 2, God of War: Ragnarok, and Diablo 4. The team is in discussion with other companies and aims to have its own video game platform shortly.
A spokesperson for Play Market states: “Play market is a cryptocurrency used as an instrument of payment on mobile games which was developed to organize game tournaments. Up to 10 games will use PLM as methode payment officiel. And it’s the first cryptocurrency that can withdraw it from games to real money.”
