Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy aims to facilitate professional connections between its course participants and licensed aestheticians with prior experience in the field. Expanding to the Regina area serves to introduce Saskatchewan locals to those who can appropriately guide their imminent industry beginnings.

The practical and classroom-based sections of its varyingly levelled medical aesthetics courses are where such relationships begin. Students at Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy’s Regina branch can anticipate the chance to learn from certified nurses and doctors at a fully operational medical aesthetic clinic.

As such, learners can observe and try their hand at many of the high-tech aesthetic treatments sought out by real clients in the field. From dermatological skin care procedures to hair or tattoo removals and more, Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy demonstrates industry-approved methods of practice for the benefit of its on-site students.

The principles behind such treatments are first taught through a series of online modules, which learners can access remotely. Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy notes that this style of learning allows for greater flexibility, with participants able to train and take in web-based material in between their day jobs.

Each of Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy’s beginner, advanced, and master-stage courses conclude with in-person tutelage portions at its aforementioned Regina school. This grants learners an opening to approach practicing professionals for feedback and guidance relating to the industry and employment. In addition, postgraduate support is also available.

“We forge transformational partnerships with community and industry organizations,” says a Dermysk representative. “We also provide liberating opportunities through medical aesthetics education and career development.”

Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy’s Regina-based courses are added as part of a nationwide program, with the school also operating in Edmonton, Toronto, and Montreal.
