San Diego Tattoo Shop Now Offers Boutique Experience

October 15, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - Electric Tiger focuses on American, Japanese, and Illustrative tattoos.

San Diego, CA. - Electric Tiger Tattoo is a boutique shop offering tattoos for those customers wanting high-quality custom creative tattooing. The benefits of a boutique shop are highly skilled creative tattoo artists and a personalized relationship with clientele in a smaller intimate setting. The tattoo artists can create tattoos in a variety of styles, such as American, Japanese, and illustrative, designed for the individual, not for the masses.

The traditional American style, or Western or old school, features bold black outlines and a limited but bold color palette with crisp images. The colors are usually green, red, yellow, and a lot of blacks. Iconic designs are often featured like roses, anchors, and gorgeous lady heads. It is the oldest and most well-known Western form of tattoos, most likely originating with sailors.

Electric Tiger Tattoo creates Japanese style tattoos, with the country's age-old folklore and mythological creatures like dragons, kirins, and phoenixes. Japanese style tattoos tell a story about Japan's past with dramatic smoke and wave filled appearance.

The illustrative style covers a large variety from etching, engraving, or fine line calligraphy, to abstract expressionism. It combines aspects of American Traditional and realism to depict illustrative like designs. Illustrative style can also be cartoonish and exaggerated.

"We're not a factory just cranking out tattoos," states Arnold Santos, tattoo artist and owner of Electric Tiger Tattoo. "We're boutique-like, highly focused on tattoos we believe in."

Electric Tiger Tattoo is located in the heart of San Diego between University Heights and Hillcrest. The shop is run by a small, tight-knit group of tattoo artists, each skilled with their own style and talents. Each tattoo artist deals with their individual clients directly; there are no managers, receptionists, or counter people creating for a boutique-like experience.

Opened in 2015 by Arnold Santos, they are available for walk-in inquiries and consultation. Appointments are made for tattoos. For more information on Electric Tiger Tattoo, please go to: https://electrictigertattoo.com/
