Simpalm Staffing Launches Tax Preparer Staffing to Help CPA Firms Get Ahead of Busy Season
Oct 20, 2026
Credentialed remote tax preparers and Enrolled Agents from Latin America and India, working U.S. business hours, onboarded in about two weeks.
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Oct. 20, 2026 - PRLog -- Simpalm Staffing today announced its Tax Preparer Staffing service for U.S. CPA firms and tax practices.
The service places remote tax preparers with an active IRS PTIN, as well as IRS Enrolled Agents and CPAs, from Latin America and India. They work during the U.S. business day, inside each firm's own tax software, and every return goes to the firm for review and signature.
Every January, the same problem returns.
Returns arrive faster than teams can prepare them.
Partners end up doing data entry instead of review and client work.
Some firms turn away new clients, not for lack of demand, but for lack of capacity.
Simpalm Staffing's preparers handle Form 1040, 1065, 1120-S and 1120 returns, extensions, K-1s, book-to-tax tie-outs from QuickBooks Online, and draft responses to IRS notices. They work in the software firms already use, including UltraTax CS, CCH Axcess Tax, Lacerte, ProConnect and Drake.
Every candidate passes a tax-specific assessment on Ducknowl, Simpalm's AI hiring platform, followed by an interview with a tax expert before a firm ever meets them. Firms pay one monthly rate with no placement fee, and a 30-day zero-invoice guarantee means that if the fit isn't right, the firm is not billed.
We have met incredible tax professionals in Latin America and India. Credentialed. Reliable. Proud of their work.
Skill is the real currency, not accent or zip code.
"Our job is to be a Sherpa for CPA firms. Carry part of the load, so partners can do what only they can do."
Vikram Seth, Founder and CEO, Simpalm Staffing
Because onboarding takes about two weeks, Simpalm recommends firms start in the fall, so they enter January with a preparer who already knows their software, clients and review style. Many firms keep their preparer year-round for extensions, notices and planning.
