Community service is an integral part of the curriculum, and students are encouraged to apply lessons from Christ's servant-leader approach by sharing the lessons they learned in church with those outside of the community. Additionally, PFLMI collaborates with local charities to address community needs. The church has provided cooked meals, winter clothing, and toiletries to residents and guests at the YMCA in Plainfield and is expanding its efforts by partnering with the Ronald McDonald House.

With student-centered learning being the heart of PFLMI's curriculum, lessons are personalized and immersive, with study guides and memory charts designed to develop effective communication and Christian leadership skills.
