STEMinists To Launch First Cohort of Web3 Mastermind Program for Women Leaders
Aug 24, 2022
Atlanta,United States - August 24, 2022 /PressCable/ —
Accelerating the Next Wave of Female and Underrepresented Web3 Leaders via Community and Coaching
Atlanta, GA: The crypto market has been quiet. However beneath the surface, builders have been busy making the most of this ‘bear market’ to build their web3 businesses. STEMinists Mastermind Social Club is building a peer-to-peer coaching community for female leaders and entrepreneurs (“builders”) entering web3. They’re currently accepting applications to join the next cohort launching October 2022.
About STEMinists Mastermind Social Club: Being an entrepreneur is no easy feat. Add onto this the challenge of onboarding onto web3 in order to transform one’s web2 skillset and/or business. This journey is best tackled with community and the support of like-minded individuals.
Members are placed into small groups of like-minded peers who connect weekly to learn + grow + achieve goals together. This mastermind concept has been used by the uber successful in web2 and now we’re bringing it to women and underrepresented leaders at the dawn of web3 to build a better internet from the beginning. Three core pillars:
Community: Regular connections over live virtual, facilitated meetings and a dedicated Discord.
Coaching: Personalized coaching based on member’s unique strengths backed by the Clifton StrengthsFinder Assessment.
Funding: A portion of NFT sales proceeds will go back into investing in our member’s startups via a pitch competition process [future state].
In regards to how success is measured in the mastermind groups, STEMinists founder Jennifer Schwert said, “We wanted to curate focused micro-communities of 7-10 individuals who not only ‘just get each other’ but help each other go further, faster together. We know we’ve achieved it when you can see the increased confidence in the members’ faces and the groups have their own inside jokes. Those are the ultimate KPI’s.”
To join the next cohort: Female leaders in the web3 space seeking community and coaching should fill out an alignment application at steminists.io and book a discovery call with STEMinists founder Jennifer to determine if they’re a strong fit and would benefit from this program. What is Web3? The future of the internet. This new web is blockchain-based and includes cryptocurrencies, NFTs (non-fungible tokens), DAOs (decentralized autonomous organizations), and DeFi (decentralized finance). In this new iteration of the web, control and financial stake are more in the hands of the users than large centralized institutions.
