Piscataway, New Jersey Nov 16, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Stephanie K. Dunlap published her first children's book "Leola Bakes In Paris" to teach children the art of baking. Leola Bakes in Paris introduces a spirited young girl who travels to Paris, meets new friends, bakes delicious biscuits, and learns about a new culture.
The character Leola is based on Dunlap's grandmother who was known for her delicious biscuits. In Leola Bakes In Paris, Leola hides her secret ingredient, so no one knows what makes them taste so good! But she forgets where she hid it. Leola suddenly takes a path you would never imagine while looking for it. Does she find her secret ingredient?
Beginner readers will enjoy getting to know Leola and her new friends, as well as learning foreign languages, cultures, and biscuit recipes! The bonus is that as the children bake and enjoy themselves, they will also learn reading and math principles. Leola Bakes in Paris has been embraced by educators and ordered by school districts.
