Despite whey-based protein powders being the most popular post-workout supplement, more student athletes, amateurs, and professionals are switching to protein powders with sustainably sourced raw ingredients. Blessed Plant Protein offers these users a protein-rich source of energy that promotes a feeling of fullness without a sense of being bloated.
Lactose, sugar alcohols found in sweeteners like sorbitol and xylitol, artificial sweeteners like sucralose and aspartame, and indigestible fiber from xanthan gum can cause bloating in some people. Protein intake exceeding the recommended dose of 0.8 g per kg of body weight can also cause bloating. Blessed Plant Protein uses stevia - a plant extract 200 to 300 times sweeter than sugar - as a zero-calorie sweetener.
At the formula's core is sprouted golden pea - a bioavailable form of protein that contains all essential amino acids. Sprouted golden pea protein powder is more beneficial because of lower anti-nutrient levels and higher levels of leucine, isoleucine, and valine - the trifecta responsible for improved muscle tissue synthesis and recovery.
The vegan-friendly pea protein powder is available through the ProBody Warehouse online store and at the brand's four retail locations in San Diego County. Popularly known as 'The Athlete's Candy Shop,' ProBody Warehouse has supplied athletes, sportspersons, and fitness enthusiasts with science-backed sports supplements for over 16 years.
According to a spokesperson for the sports nutrition store, "Blessed is vegan-friendly, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free and produced with 100% sustainable raw ingredients. Not only is it what's in the protein, but it's also what's not in our protein that sets Blessed apart; zero artificial additives, sweeteners, grit, or digestive enzymes."
