Not long after opening its doors, Sumner Academy's success allowed the school to take a bold step forward by purchasing a new site and constructing a state-of-the-art campus on 23 acres of picturesque land in the heart of Gallatin, TN. The scenic landscape surrounding the school has inspired countless young minds while allowing the academic structures room to grow and expand.

Sumner Academy's reputation for excellence grew as well, catching the attention of local luminaries like June Carter and Johnny Cash who, along with the remarkable Barbara Mandrell, entrusted the education of their children to the educators at Sumner Academy.
