Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Seman earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University.  She then went on to perform her internship and residency at Botsford Hospital, now Beaumont Hospital, in Farmington Hills. 

From there, she went on to complete a fellowship in trauma surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. 

Skilled in wound care, Dr. Seman is certified as a wound specialist by the American Board of Wound Management.

Dedicated to surgical excellence, she is board-certified in general surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). The AOBS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Holding fellowship status, Dr. Seman is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS). She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
