Versatile Filmmaker BIG SPENCE Returns to Teaching: Joins Dos Palos High School

Spencer, also known in the film industry as 'BIG SPENCE', is joining Dos Palos High School as a teacher. The artist has recently completed his acting role in the thrilling film Cursed Waters, and he is eager to share his knowledge and passion for education with the students at Dos Palos High. This is not the first time that the artist has joined an institution as a teacher as he has been teaching students since the early 2000s.

"I did take a few years off from teaching early on to focus on my acting career, but I have always been passionate about education and transferring the knowledge and passion to the younger generation," said the Dead End star, while talking about his return to the teaching profession. "Upon commencing my tenure at Dos Palos High School, I will be teaching a diverse range of classes, with a focus on Marketing, Business, and Medical subjects," he added. According to the artist, his dedication to education has been a constant in his life and he has returned to this profession to create a balance between his presence in the classroom and the film industry after a year off.

Over the years, Mr. Spencer has taught a diverse range of subjects, from math and business to photography and medical (sociology), at both middle and high school levels. His recent tenure at Fresno Unified School District involved teaching business and photography, coaching varsity football, heading the Black Student Union, and serving as the Head JV Basketball Coach. With BIG SPENCE's boundless talent and unwavering commitment to education and the arts, Dos Palos High School eagerly anticipates the transformational impact he will make on the students and the broader school community.

Beyond the classroom, BIG SPENCE has made a profound impact on the entertainment landscape through his production company, Touch The Heart Productions, established in 2010. His unwavering commitment to his work has made him achieve remarkable productivity in the film industry this year by releasing three successful movies. His captivating performances and directorial prowess, are demonstrated in some of his prominent works such as The American Dream, State Of Consciousness, Who Needs It? and Tormented Revenge. With 22 films produced under his guidance, the Dreamed Vengeance star has also taken on the roles of writer and director for several of these projects such as Straight Outta Oakland.
