VIKASA Capital Inc. has expanded its Hawai'i operations with the addition of Mr. Tyler Coons as Senior Advisor. Mr. Coons has a long track record in the Hawai'ian real estate market as a principal of Exotic Estates International.
"The evolving landscape here in Hawai'i makes it one of the hottest asset classes in the world," Mr. Coons comments. "It is a very exciting time to be in Hawai'i. I am proud to partner with VIKASA for the benefit of stakeholders and the Hawai'ian people. A special thanks to VIKASA CEO, Mr. Roshan Pujari, for this opportunity."
"We are excited to partner with Mr. Coons as we invest in real estate and real-estate-related assets with a primary focus on sustainable development opportunities in Hawai'i. Hawai'ian real estate assets have an additional benefit of resource production. The sunshine provides ample solar power and the land may produce clean water. Through a sustainable and culturally sensitive approach, returns can be amplified by the most efficient use of the land," comments Mr. Pujari.
Hawai'ian real estate has witnessed a tremendous surge during COVID and the subsequent reopening. Capital is flooding the market and real estate continues to appreciate substantially. With the influx of new investors and homeowners, there is a staggering lack of inventory on Maui. "However, Hawai'i has several facets other than just returns. It is important to protect the cultural sensitivity of our land. Hawai'ian culture is a national treasure," comments Mr. Coons.
