Parks Associates reports that 18% of US broadband households owned a home control system at the end of 2019, an increase of 38% since 2018.

Parks Associates: Smart Home Hardware Trends Comparing Year-Over-Year 2018-2019

33% of US broadband households own a home security system, an increase of 17% since 2018. 18% own a home control system, an increase of 38% since 2018. 41% own at least one smart speaker or display, an increase of 10% since 2018. 29% own at least one smart home device, an increase of 21% over 2018.
