WOWX Completes Its Transition from CEX to Decentralized Derivatives Infrastructure
Oct 11, 2026
Following more than two years of research and development and nearly one year of practical implementation, WOWX has moved beyond its original centralized exchange model, developed under a European regulatory framework, toward an infrastructure-focused architecture centered on perpetual derivatives, transparent execution and on-chain market infrastructure.
As part of this transformation, WOWX Labs Ltd. has been registered in New York to lead product development, engineering, protocol architecture and advanced technology research. New York was selected for its proximity to one of the world's leading ecosystems for financial technology, capital markets expertise, engineering talent and institutional innovation.
WOWX Labs is deliberately built around a lean, globally distributed core technical and research team of fewer than 20 specialists worldwide. The model prioritizes technical depth, execution speed and research efficiency over organizational scale.
Separately, W DAO GLOBAL has been formally established to coordinate global community development, ecosystem operations, marketing and community-driven mechanism design through a DAO-oriented structure. Its role is to expand ecosystem participation and build a distributed global network of contributors around WOWX.market.
The structure creates a clear separation between technology development and community-led ecosystem growth: WOWX Labs builds the technology. W DAO GLOBAL grows the ecosystem.
From WOWX.io to WOWX.market, WOWX's evolution represents more than a platform migration. It marks the transition from a centralized exchange business into a decentralized derivatives infrastructure ecosystem built around focused technology development, distributed research and DAO-led global expansion.
